Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I have had toenail fungus on my big toe for 20 years. It was thickening my nail and slowly going deeper into the nail bed. I had tried over-the-counter medications with no results whatsoever.
I used the Thieves essential oil blend for a week, and then I switched to the Purification blend at someone's suggestion. In another two weeks the nail had thinned to normal and the fungus had stopped growing under my nail.
It has been several months, and there is no sign of any more fungus. I occasionally treat it with a drop or two of Purification, but it does seem to be growing back normally. I am very happy with the essential oils by Young Living!
Added note (5/12/2015) I have not been able to completely eradicate my toenail fungus. It did seem to disappear for several months but it slowly came back. Currently I use Oregano oil and Tea Tree oil to keep it under control. I usually put a drop on for every 2 or 3 toes, depending on how much I can spread it around.
Fungus is a funny thing and there are different types (and little is known about any of them). I probably have something in my body that encourages its growth which may vary depending not only on what I am eating (maybe my food is too acidic) but also what my emotional state is.
I have read in other places that people who are very critical/judgmental often have toenail fungus. For myself I did grow up to be exactly that but with maturity and wisdom much of this has diminished. However, perhaps my body is telling me I still have some more growing to do in this area!
Always listen to your body! It knows how to keep you healthy and sometimes it uses illness and pain to get your attention and point you in another direction!
