Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I use a high quality Lavender oil for mosquito bites and it works amazingly well! I live out in the country and we have tons of mosquitoes and other annoying insects like deer flies.
Usually I only have to apply one or two drops of Lavender to the bite and almost immediately the itch is gone and the swelling is reduced. Only once this summer did the Lavender not completely take the itch and swelling away (it was a monster sized mosquito bite!) So I reached for my Peppermint oil and applied a few drops to the bite and, within minutes, the itch was gone and the swelling was reduced immensely.
These are amazing products!
