My husband's really bad toothache, which we tried Clove oil for, established itself as a really bad root canal infection for which he was given a prescription for antibiotics from his dentist. The tooth was wobbly and extremely painful, he was to go back to get the work done 2 weeks later.

At first we used veggie caps with a few drops of Thyme/Oregano and Clove oil, but as this didn't seem to make any difference as well as using the Thieves oil blend in any drinks that he had. So we changed it to Pine oil and it made a difference straight away...he drank it in beverages he had with some honey.

He used veggie caps with a couple drops of each of Pine oil, Rosemary and Myrrh.

Within a week, the infection was fully gone to the amazement of his dentist, who had thrown the prescription into the trash.

Pine oil....who knew?
