Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My dad had surgery to repair a tropical ulcer on his shin. It was very deep and ugly looking, we could see the bone.
The next day he developed a clot under the surgery site and it had to be virtually re-done, including skin and tissue grafts. He was doing very poorly after 2 major surgeries, anaesthetic, antibiotics and pain killers.
Then he developed hiccups, which were more like violent spasms of the diaphragm, than ordinary hiccups. The doctor said this can happen after surgery and prescribed every imaginable remedy, including injections of anti-spasmodics.
Dad could not sleep or eat, and if he attempted to eat, he would vomit. After 2 weeks of this we were shocked at how much he had deteriorated and feared for his life. We were fairly new to essential oils then and not sure what to use.
To cut a long story short, it was suggested that Tarragon oil might help. A few drops were rubbed on the only patch on his foot not covered by bandages and his hiccups stopped within a few minutes! He slept soundly for many hours. When he woke the hiccups started again but one more application of oil on his foot and the hiccups stopped again and did not return.
From then on Dad began to recover and could eat and sleep again. Because of the setback, he was a long time regaining his strength, but we are so thankful for these high quality essential oils which literally saved his life!
We now think oils first, before anything else!
