Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
This was recommended to me by my chiropractor's wife who is also a nurse when I visited their office one day with a cold that wouldn't go away. My sinuses were blocked and I was just plain miserable for too long. She suggested something to me in her sincere and caring way and also prefaced it by saying, "this is not for the weak."
She told me about the health effects of using oil of Oregano. She told me to wash my hands and she would place a single drop of oil of Oregano on the palm of my hand. She told me to lick it off, let my tongue touch the roof of my mouth. I thought, how hard is this? She slid over a box of tissues. WOW! It was like a rocket went off in my head!
Although the strong almost peppery taste of the oil of Oregano was potent, it cleared out my sinuses immediately and I was well a short time after.
I have no doubt that this fantastic oil worked and have shared this story with many since that time.
As she said, if a person is very sensitive, they can mix the one drop in a tablespoon of pure olive oil to soften the initial taste. It still worked great!
