I purchased a paper back book at a thrift store. One I had wanted to read but when I got it home and opened it up to start reading it, the smell was worse than just old paperback book! So I put it in a zip lock back with a cotton ball that had a few drops of Purification on it. Left it on the night stand for a few days and when I took it out the book now smelled wonderful and the pages were not as yellow!
