Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have had an overproduction of mucous for a couple of years. I think it is probably from a medication that my physician put me on. I found it most annoying since it was in the morning upon arising that it was most unpleasant.

I thought about the fact that Lemon oil helped to reduce acid, so one night before retiring, I put the oil on the bottom of my feet, and on my throat, where the reflux problem was causing the problem. I have a hiatal hernia, which is anatomical, and causes acid to irritate the esophagus.

The next morning, for the first time in a long time, I didn't have that awful extra "you know what" in my throat. I was most impressed, and intend to do it every night, and to also drink a drop of oil in my purified water upon arising, and throughout the day.

The more I learn about these oils, the more amazed I become. I will definitely be attending the "Gold of the Gods" Convention in July!

I have never been to one, but with the results I am getting, how could I not go?

2.Associated topics: throat — "Streptococcus pyogenes [strep] plays an important role in the pathogenesis of tonsillitis.... [T]hyme, cinnamon, lemongrass, tea tree, lavender, oregano, clove, palmarosa, or cajeput [melaleuca] EOs [essential oils] are known to be active against Streptococcus pyogenes, while oregano, basil, mint [peppermint], rosemary, and lavender EOs are known to inhibit another Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus [staph].... We showed that cinnamon presented the higher activity against S. pyogenes compared to the other EOs tested.... 14 [essential oils] showed antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes.... Among them Cinnamomum verum [cinnamon bark], Cymbopogon citratus [Xiang Mao], Thymus vulgaris CT thymol [thyme], Origanum compactum [oregano], and Satureja montana [Mountain Savory] essential oils exhibited significant antibacterial activity. Being a solvent of cholesterol, d-limonene has been used clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones. Because of its gastric acid neutralizing effect and its support of normal peristalsis, it has also been used for relief of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). D-limonene has well-established chemopreventive activity against many types of cancer. Evidence from a phase I clinical trial demonstrated a partial response in a patient with breast cancer and stable disease for more than six months in three patients with colorectal cancer."Link
5.Associated topics: acid-reflux-/-heartburn-/-stomach-acid — "In traditional folk medicine, tarragon [Artemisia dracunculus L. (Asteraceae)] has been used for treatment of pain and gastrointestinal disturbances....
