Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My boyfriend accidentally burned a few of his fingertips on a grill hot from the oven. It was a "screamer" of a burn for such a big guy! I immediately put a couple of drops of Lavender oil on all fingertips while he held a bag of ice cubes all day. Every 15 minutes we put a few more drops on each fingertip.
By the second day the minor burns on fingertips were fine and we took care of the major burn on the one fingertip. He was adamant about the ice cube bag and I was adamant about the Lavender oil at the same time.
By the 3rd and 4th day, he was seeing significant improvement and was astonished that he did not get the usual swelling and inflammation he is so accustomed to seeing along with the gross peeling.
He decided that he would buy 2 bottles of Lavender oil for each of his first aid kits.
The big guy was impressed with the girlfriend's "aromatherapy" oils.
