Have you ever tried to get the old wax out of a candle holder? It leaves a waxy residue especially on glass votive holders. Recently I started to painstakingly scrape the bottom and sides of 3 candle holders.

Then like an anvil on my cartoon head, I remembered I'm always searching for new uses for Thieves Household Cleaner, which obviously contains the Thieves oil blend. So I poured a few drops into each holder. Filled with water and let them sit for five minutes.

I expected best case scenario would be that I'd have to wipe them out. To my utter astonishment, when I ran them under water, without even wiping, they rinsed like they were all brand new!
