My dog has really bad tear stains around her eyes. So I put her in the sink with warm water and a few drops of Lavender oil. I poured it over her for some time and used a wash cloth to wipe her eyes clean with the Lavender water.
I took her out, dried her well and applied full strength Lavender oil on her nose bridge and around her eyes. It was very soothing to her.
Her eyes look so much brighter now with less staining.
