I was in severe pain from an inflamed tooth and the only reason I didn't go to the dentist was because it started at night and the dentist was unavailable.
My choice normally would be to use Clove oil, but I did not have any, so my next choice was Clary Sage. I placed one drop of Clary Sage and one drop of Rose on the toothbrush and brushed my gums and went to bed with the intention of going to the dentist next morning.
Next morning I awoke with no pain and have been using essential oils on my gums ever since and not only the pain did not return, but I have no plaque between the teeth. My mouth feels like I am having a dental cleaning on a daily basis.
Lemongrass and Rosemary are also great for brushing.
