Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
While out in the potato field, I sustained a bee sting on the back of my neck. My husband was able to get the stinger out, but it left a large area of redness and a large welt at the sting site. Luckily, I had the Purification oil blend with me, which I applied immediately.
Upon arriving home shortly thereafter, I checked the essential oils reference book for suggested oils to use for bee stings. It suggested applying a blend of Peppermint, Lavender, German Chamomile, and Wintergreen every 15 minutes for 1 hour. Although I didn't have German Chamomile on hand, I began applying a few drops each of Peppermint, Lavender and Wintergreen every 15 minutes as suggested.
To my complete amazement, the stinging began to subside immediately, and after only the 3rd application, 45 minutes after beginning the bee sting regimen - there was absolutely no sign as to where the injection site had even been! No stinging, welt, or redness. Amazing!
I love Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils and use them everyday. I especially love Frankincense oil. They are such a blessing to my family and me. We are so grateful to Gary Young for bringing these beautiful essential oils to us.
