I have 2 yr old twin boys, and have the mindset that 'hey I created two babies they can't both be perfect', lol!
Well this is unfortunately the case with our younger twin, poor Harper has the most sensitive skin which is something that I have taken for granted considering our house is chemical free. We use all Young Living products for our house, laundry and general cleaning and the only things other than Young Living that we use for washing are LUSH products, which are also organic.
Last night Harper had a bath somewhere other than home, and as soon as he was out of the bath his skin was blotchy and red!! I hoped it would calm down, but as soon as we were home he was scratching like mad. Let me add he was washed with a reputable baby wash!!
On went the coconut oil with 10 drops of Lavender oil mixed into it... This was my ah ha moment!! Anyone who knows us knows the story of Harper drinking half a bottle of Frankincense... It all clicked then he needed Frankincense internally for his skin issues. So in went 10 drops of Frankincense as well, and for some reason I kept being drawn to Helichrysum so in went 5 drops of that as well.
He was soothed instantly, fell asleep and this morning we are all none the wiser to anything going on last night.
