Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My husband had a stroke three years ago; the stroke was a result of undiagnosed fibrillation and arrhythmia of his heart muscle. Although he has no plaque in his arteries, the continuous beating of his heart churned up a clot. At the time of his stroke his heart was only operating at 50% capacity because it was so exhausted.

He was put on four medications to stabilize his heartbeat to allow it to recover or build up so that he could have a procedure called "radio frequency ablation" to remedy the fibrillation. This is only successful in 70% of cases; it was successful in his case, but doctors could not solve the arrhythmia.

Since we had nothing to lose, I got him to try the Aroma Life essential oil blend. He rubbed one drop directly over his heart, 2 times per day.

He was a nonbeliever in essential oils, so he did not tell me right away when he felt the arrhythmia was no longer bothering him. His blood pressure monitor indicates when he has arrhythmia, and he takes his blood pressure readings several times per day.

After one month of using the oils, my husband said, "My arrhythmia is gone. I think that it has been gone for two weeks, but I wanted to make sure." That was a year ago.

Now he tells everyone who has arrhythmia to use essential oils. While we use Aroma Life essential oil blend, I believe that it is the Ylang Ylang essential oil within the blend that is beneficial to those dealing with arrhythmia.

ANYONE who has had a stroke should use essential oils to maintain a healthy circulatory system.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: heart, stroke — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration."Link
2.Associated topics: heart — "[I]dentifying... the effects of YYA [ylang ylang aroma] on blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) is important in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of YYA. The present results demonstrated that inhalation of YYA significantly decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Inhalation of YYA also significantly decreased the HRs in 10 leads.... In the present results, YYA caused a reduction of HR and BP, and a relief of the arousal level in healthy men. The present results show a sedative effect of YYA, and this study provides some evidences for the usage of YYA [as a] medicinal agent."Link
3.Associated topics: heart — "Aromatherapy... [consisting of] a blend of oils of lemon (Citrus limonum), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata)... is effective in lowering systolic blood pressure and sympathetic nerve system activity... of heart rate variability."Link
