Due to an extremely busy schedule lately, yesterday I went to sleep at 6:30 am and got up at 7:30 am. Needless to say, I was beyond exhausted and had an extremely busy day so there was no hope of any midday nap.
My husband rubbed a few drops of each of the En-R-Gee oil blend, Clove, and Nutmeg oils all over my back to support my adrenals, as I could feel they were stressed. I rubbed a few drops of En-R-Gee and Peppermint oils on the bottom of my feet, rubbed Peppermint oil all over my forehead and on the base of my neck.
I put a few drops of Peppermint oil on my tongue and pressed it to the roof of my mouth where, albeit was very intense! It woke me up and started oxygenating my brain right away. I was wide awake and very alert for my 8 am appointment.
A couple more applications of Peppermint oil on my forehead, neck, and tongue throughout the day and I was able to stay on task and get everything done that I needed to.
I was alert for a business dinner as well as for a completely separate evening engagement after that. I didn't get home until 11:30 pm and promptly went to bed, in awe that I had made it through an otherwise tough day so effortlessly.
After using these oils for 6 years, I know what these oils can do but am still amazed and grateful every time! I could have chosen coffee/caffeine to jump start and get me through the day, but I know that would have only caused further harm to my adrenals and other organs. It was also cheaper than Mountain Dew, Red Bull or Starbucks too)
I am so thankful I was able to help support my body in very healthy ways when it was already stressed from lack of sleep!
