Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My husband was not so blessed with being attacked my poison ivy and it was up and down his arms and wrists and even his nose. The doctor said it wasn't bad enough for a shot, and we didn't fill the prescription for steroid cream.
To help with the itch, we tried the Joy oil blend, which made it itch more. He did use Peppermint and the Thieves oil blend topically the first few days. I gave him 5 drops Lavender by capsule (that really helped) and then Lavender on his skin.
The thing that helped stop the itch the fastest was Animal Scents ointment. This stuff helped with his sanity and it soothed his skin too. His skin is recovering as we speak and today is day 7 and he didn't even need anything today.
Last time this happened we didn't know about the oils and it took 2 weeks with shots, ointments and special baths. We are very happy we have Young Living Essential Oils in our lives.
