I had been working in my garden for a couple of long days when I started having severe heel pain. All symptoms lead to plantar fasciitis or maybe achilles tendonitis.

Achilles tendonitis is easy to confuse with other similar conditions, such as plantar fasciitis or heel spurs. It is an "overuse problem," resulting from too much strain and stress placed on the tendon and that causes microtears.
