Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My cat, Dilly, was closing her eye, folding her ear forward and looking like she was in a lot of pain. So I called and made an appointment for her at our vets. In the meantime, I got an ear wipe and cleaned her ear (nothing was in there that I could see).

So then I decided to put some Lavender on my hand and pet her with it to keep her calm for her visit to the vet. When I did that, my husband made a comment "that's not going to help her ear". I replied, "I know. I just want to calm her down for the vet visit."

Then I remembered reading a testimonial on using Lavender on a baby, for an earache. So I thought what the heck. I took a drop of Lavender and put it on my finger, and rubbed the outer, back part of her ear, and then a little just inside the ear, (not in the ear canal). She took off running. Then in about 10 seconds, she came back and just laid next to me. She totally stopped shutting her eye and folding her ear forward.

So I called and rescheduled the vet visit for the next day and decided to keep an eye on her. She didn't act like she was in pain after that, she acted normally, however, I reapplied some Lavender again before I went to bed.

The next morning, when I got up she was just fine. I love these oils, and don't know what I would do without them or how I ever got along without them!
