My 13 year old little dog had been losing weight for almost a year. After switching vets I found out he had a thyroid imbalance. Meds helped some but he was still so thin! Then one morning he started with a cough and 3 days later he whimpered when he ate his breakfast.
Off to the vet again to find out he had a cracked and infected tooth! The vet started him on a 10 day round of antibiotics and we scheduled him to have the tooth removed the next day.
At the end of the 10 day round of antibiotics, his cough was worse, he couldn't even jump down off the chair without stopping to cough and gag. I called the vet and he was stymied, and recommended the next step to be either a scope on his throat or a x-ray of his chest.
At this point I really thought I was close to losing him. He was so skinny, and you could tell he just didn't feel good. So I hung up the phone and my eyes landed on a bottle of the Thieves oil blend. I was pretty new to the world of essential oils and thought "What do I have to lose at this point?"
So my little guy got a couple of drops on his food the next couple of days. Within THREE days his cough was gone! Not only was his cough gone but that spark was back that had been missing for quite some time. That was five months ago and in that time he has gained a pound and a half and is back to his desired weight and prances around like a dog half his age!
I praise my God for the love and care He has for all his creations!
