Being on the mission field in Africa has many hazards. Dehydration is very common because of the extreme temperatures. Hemorrhoids are a common health issue.
After years of trying over-the-counter medications which take weeks to correct the symptoms, we tried Myrrh essential oil. One application brought relief! After three days with morning and night applications directly on the swollen area, the problem was completely resolved! We have used this method twice and it has brought total relief both times!
I recommend buying the roller fitments from Young Living and rolling on the Myrrh essential oil directly on the inflamed area. If you do not have a roller to attach to the bottle then apply two to three drops topically to the area. Myrrh will not usually burn or feel hot to this sensitive area, but if in doubt then add a few drops of V-6 oil or olive oil in the palm of your hand and mix together with the Myrrh before applying.
Myrrh is a thicker oil, so make sure to keep the bottle closed after each use.
