Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I have eczema, and I am a fan of facial cleaning wipes, but recently became allergic to the inexpensive ones I have used for years. I learned from a "back to nature" blog that I could make my own.
My ingredients are 6 drops of Lavender oil for soothing, 6 drops of Lemon oil for cleansing and a tablespoon of organic virgin coconut oil with some water and rubbing alcohol for emulsification.
I pour the ingredients onto dinner napkins, cut in half and place in a plastic pencil case. Unfortunately, I still have to use my topical anti-inflammatory ointment, but I'm still very pleased with the results.
These wipes clean my face and reduce the stress of getting ready for work in the morning, with the combined lovely aromas of Lavender, Lemon and coconut!
