Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My 3 year old son has been waking up from night terrors. He would start screaming and I just couldn't console him. We would ask him if he was in pain and he said no.
I remembered that Lavender oil was used for calming, so I had him smell from the Lavender bottle and 15 minutes later he was back to peacefully sleeping. That happened another night. Then the third night I had him sniff the Lavender before he fell asleep and no night terrors.
The fourth night I forgot to have him sniff the oil and he woke up screaming again. I had him inhale the Lavender and he was sleeping 15 minutes later.
On the fifth and sixth night I remembered to give him a sniff and I put a drop on his pillow of the Lavender oil before bed and no screaming. He was even asking to sniff it by then because at first he would resist the oils.
Last night which was the seventh night, we forgot to have him inhale from the bottle, but there was no more screaming. Hopefully his night terrors are over with and I know that I can use Lavender for him again if needed.
AHHH, mama gets to have better sleep too!
