Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
One day two teenage boys were playing and one fell or was pushed. Then I heard, "Come quick mom, it's bad!" Running I come to see blood dripping down the youngest boy's forehead, back of neck and around the ears. It was bleeding profusely. I grabbed a towel and applied pressure to the back of his head where the gash was, to slow the bleeding down some.
We then grabbed Geranium essential oil (never used it this way before) and applied liberally around the gash (not getting it in the wound) and generously applied Young Living Animal Scents ointment all over the open area (how does one apply a bandaid to that area?). The bleeder stopped within 5 minutes!
The one that was injured was pretty upset so we also applied the Peace & Calming essential oil blend on him as well as the PanAway oil blend too as he had a major headache. Hitting your head hard on a wooden chair might do that!
With what we did, he was fine! The gash did reopen one time, several hours later (more bleeding but so much less) and I did the same protocol and it stopped. It hasn't reopened in over 18 hours.
If you don't have Geranium essential oil and you want to have something on hand to slow down or stop bleeding from a major cut, I strongly recommend this amazing oil or Cypress oil!
