Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
As clumsy as I can be at times, I kicked my big toe into a piece of heavy furniture. There was a moment of numbness before the pain kicked in. By then, the toe has gone from pink to an angry red and blue color as well.
It was not possible to step on it and the toe had become twice its actual size! My toenail was all dark and blue/black. Obviously there was internal bleeding and swelling.
I sprinkled Lavender oil on it generously and lay down, resting and raising my foot up on pillows. Thank God, I was in my bedroom close to my bed.
I continued to apply Lavender many times for the rest of the day despite the fact that I was hobbling around at home painfully.
What surprised me was what I saw of my toe the next morning. There was virtually no swelling, and the angry red and blue was reduced to a dark red patch under my toe nail.
I had obviously kicked my toenail and loosened it from my toe the day before. Although the toenail did appear wobbly and not quite set on the toe, it seemed to have resolved itself. There was no pain nor tenderness after 3 days.
I am amazed at the results that had taken place.
