Nine months ago I started work with a Labradoodle with a diagnosed seizure disorder. He had them since he was born, and they kept getting worse. Although we were able to identify some triggers, it is believed by his health care team that his condition is genetic. He had seizures quite frequently, sometimes they would happen back-to-back. The effects of his seizures would sometimes last for days.
His vet put him on phenobarbitol, which made him gain 40 pounds. The pressure led to a knee replacement. He also has hip dysplasia with bone spurs in his hip. Over the last several years, he was put on more and more medications to help control the symptoms of pain, and some of his medications had been increased to help control breakthrough seizures. He had maxed out on the dosages for many of his medications, and at one time was on 6 different prescription meds. His owner was tired of the high vet bills and seeing her dog in so much misery.
She decided to try the natural approach. She was introduced to me through a mutual connection. We started with recommending the application of Valor on his paws every day. Then came a diet change to better support his overall brain and body function. We were also able to identify some of the things that triggered a seizure, and recommended he be taken off heartworm medicine and to receive titer tests every year instead of vaccines.
After he adjusted to his new diet, his owner added Raindrop Technique every day, using all of the oils in the Raindrop Kit. A few drops of Lemon was added to his water every day to help him burn fat. He gets Sacred Frankincense rubbed on his hip everyday to help with the pain, and to keep his hips and lower spine balanced. In several weeks time, he had lost enough weight that he could start an exercise routine with us tailored to his health needs.
His owner also started him on a protocol of Sulfurzyme, Life 5 Probiotic, Detoxzyme, AgilEase, MultiGreens and JuvaTone. She takes Valor everywhere. It is known for its anti-spasmodic properties.
Today, 9 months later, he has lost 35 of his 40 lbs, he has had only 1 seizure, he no longer takes pain medication, and he is down to a very low dose of just 1 medication. They are slowly weaning him off of it. His vet bills have gone from up to several hundreds every month to nearly non-existent.
We also set him up with a canine massage therapist who also works with Young Living oils. She has helped improve his muscle tone and mobility. He has gone from being overweight and in pain, and unable to move to a dog who enjoys his life, is happy, and loves to run and play.
His vet once said there was nothing else they could do. Now, the nurses and vet techs at the clinic cannot believe how much his health has improved. What Young Living has made in this dog's life is nothing short of remarkable!

6. | Associated topics: muscles — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery." | Link |

Amino ester of an amino acid, belonging to alpha-pinenes, showed great anticonvulsant activity... compared to Phenobarbital, a common anticonvulsant agent....
