Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I am not an experienced dog show handler however I am an experienced pet owner and I had bred Labrador Retrievers for a number of years.

I have utilized my oils for a number of things with the dogs. And since my dog of choice can be known to have quite a broad range of temperament and emotions, it wasn't uncommon for me to utilize a few oils in stressful situations.

On two occasions I was required to utilize some oils for two different reasons at some dog shows.

On the first occasion, I took my female Fox Red Labrador to her first dog show. Lily was quite comfortable with me but was very nervous around others and other dogs. She never lashed out but was quick to hide. I rubbed some of the Valor oil blend on her nose, behind her ears and on the pads of her feet.

Lily never placed in her classes but she did gain the confidence to walk with me in the ring among other people and other dogs that she did not know. That was a total win for her that day!

A year later I took her daughter, Fuoco into the ring. Fuoco had the exact opposite problem. Her temperament was the exact duplicate of her father's temperament.

I was able to utilize the Peace & Calming oil blend and Lavender with Fuoco. Of course, Fuoco also didn't place but she did learn the importance of manners in the ring that day. Again, a real win for her that entire weekend.

This study further implies that HRV could evaluate the efficacy of aromatherapy using various fragrances to relieve premenstrual symptoms, and ultimately, support the mind and body health of women."Link
2.Associated topics: puppy-/-dog-/-canine — "Idiopathic vestibular syndrome is the most common cause of peripheral vestibular disease in dogs and, despite its dramatic clinical presentation, can improve without intervention."Link
3.Associated topics: behavior,emotions-/-feelings — "Beta-Caryophyllene [component of cannabis, clove, copaiba], a CB2 [cannabinoid] receptor agonist produces multiple behavioral changes relevant to anxiety and depression in mice.... these preclinical results suggest that CB2 receptors may provide alternative therapeutic targets for the treatment of anxiety and depression. The possibility that BCP may ameliorate the symptoms of these mood disorders offers exciting prospects for future studies."Link
4.Associated topics: behavior — "A number of essential oils are currently in use as aromatherapy agents to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. 6.Associated topics: behavior — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
7.Associated topics: behavior,emotions-/-feelings — "Lavender essential oil has been used as an anxiolytic [anxiety] drug, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antihypertensive [high blood pressure], antimicrobial, analgesic [pain] agent as well as a wound healing accelerator....
