Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My husband had injured his arm and while the small puncture was simple to address, the remaining inflammation and soreness was bothering him while he was driving. The only oil I had with me at the time was the RutaVaLa roll-on that I carry for anxiety issues.
We decided it couldn't hurt to try it so he carefully rolled it over the sore area on his arm. Before he could replace the cap and hand it back to me he was exclaiming that the pain was already greatly reduced! With some gentle stretching he was able to sleep that night without discomfort.
Although the oils work quickly a lot of the time, this was the first occasion where the relief was almost instantaneous.
We are so thankful for the oils!

7. | Associated topics: wound-/-gash — "DHEA [a component of PD 80/20], an androstene hormone [precursor to estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, cortisone, and other hormones], has been shown to possess a wide range of beneficial biological effects mainly attributed to immune system modulation.... thus leading to beneficial effects in diverse human diseases including resistance to infection, neuroprotection, wound healing, diabetes, hepatic injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer." | Link |
8. | Associated topics: inflammation — "To assess their anti-inflammatory activities, effects of essential oils on neutrophil activation were examined in vitro.... All essential oils tested at 0.1% concentration suppressed TNF-945;-induced neutrophil adherence, and, in particular, lemongrass, geranium, and spearmint oils clearly lowered the reaction even at 0.0125%. Similar inhibitory activities for the neutrophil adherence were obtained by their major constituent terpenoids: citral, geraniol, citronellol and carvone. Thus, some essential oils used as anti-inflammatory remedies suppress neutrophil activation by TNF-945; at a low concentration (0.0125-0.025%) in vitro." | Link |
