Now I Can Paint With Oils!

Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. My mother, Ellen Tzouras, who passed away in December, 2000, was an excellent artist. I am blessed to have many of her lovely paintings in my home. My sister, Dianne (who is also my sponsor) and I were cleaning out our beloved mother's box of oil paints to see which ones were still good and not dried out. In the process, I got black and red oil paint all over my hands and was horrified, as I thought I would have to use turpentine to get the oils off and dreaded the toxic smell, not to mention what it would do to my hands. In fact, that's why I hesitated to use oil paints in the past.

However, we used a small amount of Thieves cleaner and the ugly paint came off swiftly and smoothly with no harsh effects and with the benefit of the beautiful aroma of Clove, Lemon and other oils in the "Thieves" blend. Many years ago I made an abstract painting of Lavender fields (coincidence?) Now I can once again paint with oils, no pun intended, this time confidently! Mom would be proud!
