Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

A couple of days ago I bought a cup of hot chocolate from a popular donut shop. I blew on the hot liquid as usual and took a sip. The top portion which was slightly foamy tasted comfortably hot, but just underneath it, the liquid was so hot it burned all the way down my throat. I could hardly draw a breath and could not speak. I was truly worried that I had severely burned my throat.

I was traveling by car as a passenger so I put several drops of Lavender directly on my tongue and mixed with saliva and swallowed. I did this 3 times within 20 minutes. I could then swallow and speak without difficulty. I repeated this regime 2 more times in the next 3 hours.

The next morning there was NO PAIN! No problem swallowing or talking either.

Now I always carry Lavender oil in my purse or pocket. Thanks to those who make these oils and website available, many blessings!

[T]hyme, cinnamon, lemongrass, tea tree, lavender, oregano, clove, palmarosa, or cajeput [melaleuca] EOs [essential oils] are known to be active against Streptococcus pyogenes, while oregano, basil, mint [peppermint], rosemary, and lavender EOs are known to inhibit another Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus [staph].... We showed that cinnamon presented the higher activity against S. pyogenes compared to the other EOs tested.... 14 [essential oils] showed antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes.... Among them Cinnamomum verum [cinnamon bark], Cymbopogon citratus [Xiang Mao], Thymus vulgaris CT thymol [thyme], Origanum compactum [oregano], and Satureja montana [Mountain Savory] essential oils exhibited significant antibacterial activity. 3.Associated topics: burns — "Melaleuca Alternifolia [tea tree] Hydrogel... was compared with tap water as a coolant following application onto a fresh, deep, partial-thickness hot water burn.... Effective cooling of the burn wound and an increased rate of wound healing was achieved by both repeated tap water compresses and by immediate or delayed application of Melaleuca Hydrogel.
