For as long as I can remember I have been referred to as a "night owl." I am up late at night wishing I could go to sleep, have trouble getting out of bed (have a hate relationship with my alarm clock), and am sluggish throughout the day. I go through midday crashes between 2 and 4 in the afternoon to where I am almost non functional. I have gone through bouts of depression because of this thinking I am not "normal."
It wasn't until a dear friend of mine mentioned looking into adrenal fatigue. This was a tremendous blessing to me as it mentioned all of the above symptoms, as well as allergies, asthma, occasional anxiousness, high or low blood pressure, and more.
I would highly recommend Dr. Leanne Deardeuff, D.C.'s book called "Ultimate Balance", as this is where I learned that my adrenals were sluggish. This book talks about infusing the major organs of the body with essential oils to help improve their performance and has been a tremendous help for me.
I applied En-R-Gee essential oil blend to my adrenal Vita Flex points between 9 PM and 11 PM the first night and, to my surprise, woke up at 6:30 AM refreshed and ready for my day.
The same thing happened the second day, so I got on the treadmill and was able to do 3 miles because I felt so good. I've woken around that time ever since while doing this protocol.
This has been such an amazing blessing, and I pray that it can help others as well.
