Our beautiful Russian Blue cat "Emmy" had a bladder infection for the second time and would sit in her litter box for minutes at a time, going back several times and couldn't urinate at all. This had happened before, a couple of months ago and at that time I didn't know what to do except take her to the vet for an antibiotic, and it cleared it up.
However, this time when she had symptoms again of bladder infection and difficulty urinating I had read that someone gave their cat NingXia Red juice and it had helped. So I got a dropper and put 2 or 3 droppers full in her mouth followed by a dropper of water twice a day for two days.
Guess what? This morning there were three clumps of urine in the litter box. I'll probably give her some maybe twice a week to make sure this doesn't happen again.
What an easy solution with no side effects!!
