I came home a bit too late one night so that our cat was left out past dark. Once she finally decided to come out to us from the trees and shrubs we noticed she was not her usual self.
She was not happy, not wanting to move much and most of all not wanting to get to her food fast. Which at this point I noticed just a little blood on the floor from her tail.
We examined her and sure enough she had a large gash, about 2 inches on her tail about midway. We got Lavender oil and the Purification oil blend and put that on the wound. I then wrapped it lightly.
In the morning we talked with the vet who said stitches could not be done on wounds older than 12 hours, but took her to inspect and clean up the tail wound. I got called back and was told that while shaving it, a large clump of fur came off that was blocking the main vein, which saved her life, but now would have to do stitches as she had no choice but to close the wound.
I was told that the tail may have to be amputated but won't know for a few days. I said 'not to worry I have oils as a solution' and off we went.
A few drops each of the oils of Frankincense, Lavender, the Purification, Believe and Hope oil blends were applied. They were swiped on the paws, tail and down the back.
And I bet you know the rest of the story; we have a fully functioning tail without even a keloid to find where those stitches or the scar was.
She is one oily cat!
