Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I had the experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999. I had a lumpectomy done, but the margins were not clear; so they did not think they got all the tumor. I was in a breast MRI study, so I was being monitored closely.
The week of Christmas I received a phone call from my doctor that there was more tumor and that it was growing. She recommended that I get a mastectomy. Doctors go home for the holidays like everyone else, so I couldn't get one scheduled until January 19th, almost a month later.
That evening, I prayed and meditated on what I should do next. The very next day, someone I knew told me about therapeutic-grade essential oils. I thought, "What do I have to lose?" I am just waiting around for surgery, so I started using the oils. I rubbed 2-3 drops of each of Frankincense, the Exodus II oil blend, Lavender, and Clove on my tumor twice a day.
I mixed 8-10 drops of Frankincense with 1/4 tsp of olive oil in a cup. I used a 3 cc Luer-Lok syringe with a plastic tip and sucked this mixture up into the syringe. (You can order these from Independent Medical Supply Company.)
While in bed, I placed the syringe 1/2 inch into my rectum and released the oils. (Think of a suppository without a capsule.) I took the syringe out and slept all night. I would get up in the morning and wash out the syringe. I did this for 6 days on and 1 day off. I also used supplements to support my immune system.
About a week before the surgery, it felt like the lump was getting smaller, so I called my doctor and said that I thought it was shrinking. (I am sure she thought I was a looney tune.) I requested another breast MRI. If it had shown that it was shrinking, I would try to put off the surgery.
The doctor who did the MRI study was still out of town. The radiologist said it would be very risky for me to keep the tumor in me any longer because it was only 2 ml from my chest wall. For me it was all about weighing risks, so I went ahead with the surgery.
When the pathology report came back, my doctor called me. She was a very honest doctor. She told me that I was correct. My tumor had shrunk. The only thing I had done differently was start using the essential oils and supplements from the same company. I had been on this regimen less than a month. This was very impressive! I thought that I needed to learn more about these oils. Why aren't we taught this for prevention?
It has been 14 years since my diagnosis. I continued to do my regimen until all my blood work showed that I was clear of cancer. After a cancer diagnosis, you have blood draws for tumor markers every 3 months. If it continues to be clear, they drop it to every 6 months and then to once a year.
I did my regimen every month until I was clear. I then would do it for 1 month quarterly. When I progressed to being tested every 6 months, I did it for 1 month every 6 months and now continue to do it 1 month a year for prevention.
I use Frankincense or Sandalwood on my breast almost every day for prevention. I drink Grapefruit or Tangerine oil in my water, take OmegaGize, and drink NingXia Red juice to keep my immune system healthy. I also use Progessence Plus Serum.
I chose not to do chemotherapy or radiation but used my essential oil regimen instead. It has been 14 years, and I feel fabulous. I am committed to helping others prevent disease such as cancer. Therapeutic-grade essential oils should be in everyone's routine.

3. | Associated topics: immune-system,cancer — "DHEA [a component of PD 80/20], an androstene hormone [precursor to estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, cortisone, and other hormones], has been shown to possess a wide range of beneficial biological effects mainly attributed to immune system modulation.... thus leading to beneficial effects in diverse human diseases including resistance to infection, neuroprotection, wound healing, diabetes, hepatic injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer." | Link |
4. | Associated topics: cancer — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action." | Link |
5. | Associated topics: breast-cancer,cancer,breasts — "D-limonene is one of the most common terpenes in nature. It is a major constituent in several citrus oils.... Being a solvent of cholesterol, d-limonene has been used clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones. Because of its gastric acid neutralizing effect and its support of normal peristalsis, it has also been used for relief of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). D-limonene has well-established chemopreventive activity against many types of cancer. Evidence from a phase I clinical trial demonstrated a partial response in a patient with breast cancer and stable disease for more than six months in three patients with colorectal cancer." | Link |
6. | Associated topics: immune-system — "Immunomodulatory activity of frankincense oil: Biologically, the oil exhibited a strong immunostimulant activity (90% lymphocyte transformation) when assessed by a lymphocyte proliferation assay." | Link |
7. | Associated topics: immune-system — "Anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antimicrobial, antioxidant, carminative [flatulence] and immunomodulatory properties of caraway suggest that it might exert beneficial effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).... CHE and CEO [caraway essential oil] at all doses tested were effective in reducing colon tissue lesions and colitis indices and the efficacy was nearly the same when different doses of plant fractions were administered p.o. or i.p..... These data suggest that caraway fractions are both effective and possess anti-colitic activity irrespective of the dose and route of administration." | Link |
8. | Associated topics: cancer — "Thujaplicin, a minor component of Aomori Hiba [Hinoki], showed rather strong antifungal activity against seven kinds of plant-pathogenic fungi.... Thujaplicin and hinokitiol (the major component of Aomori Hiba [Hinoki]) also showed clear antibacterial activity against Legionella pneumophila SG 1 and L. pneumophila SG 3 [Legionnaires disease, pneumonia].... This compound showed strong insecticidal activity against Reticulitermes speratus [termites], and it also had clear acaricidal [ticks, mites] activity against Dermatophagoides farinae [house dust mites].... [T]he strong cytotoxic effect of Thujaplicin on murine P388 lymphocytic leukemia cell line [CLL, chronic lymphocytic leukemia] should be emphasized...." | Link |
