Being a desert dweller and sun lover who is also possessed of fair amount of vanity I do not wish to look like a lizard. I am in my sixth decade.
Since becoming well acquainted with the oils and many of their varied uses I have become very comfortable with creating my own skin care creams. They are supportive of my love of the sun and healthy tanning. Just this summer I was introduced by a man to his wife as 'the one I told you about with the beautiful skin.'
An unnatural patch of dermatitis developed just below my collarbone. It was raised, reddish and itchy. My normal skin cream applications weren't making any difference.
So out came the Melaleuca Alternifloria, Ylang Ylang, and Frankincense oil applied neat, 2-3 drops, every time I passed the bathroom and thought about it.
It did take about two weeks and has cleared up just fine.
