Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I recently leaned into fresh caulk and got it all over one of my favorite dresses. For those that don't know, caulk is an acrylic or silicone sealer used in bathrooms to keep water out of where it shouldn't be.
After washing the dress and it being thrown into the dryer, the caulk was still there. I was terrified that the dress would be ruined.
I have used Lemon oil for other household cleaning uses, to remove grime and grease over the stove, so I decided to try it. I dampened the area that had caulk on it and rubbed a few several drops of Lemon oil on it.
Every bit of that sticky mess came right off with a minimal amount of rubbing. And even though the dress was a cotton material, it didn't mess up the cloth to rub it.
