Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My 85 year old dad has vascular dementia and every day we have his care giver take him for a 2 mile walk, because exercise is the best way to get the blood to his brain. When it starts to get cold his nose turns blue along with his ears and hands. It's only been in the high 40's and low 50's and already this is happening.

So we put gloves on his hands along with earmuffs and a medical mask. It worked until the temperature dipped a little lower. Upon checking this great website about poor circulation, and seeing that they recommended Helichrysum, I decided to try the Aroma Siez oil blend since it has Helichrysum in it and I had it on hand.

This morning I put it on his nose and out he went for his walk with his medical mask. When he returned his nose was not blue one bit and it was even warm. His care giver forgot to put his gloves on so the one hand that hangs out was very blue and white at the finger tips. I rubbed Aroma Siez on his hand and it quickly turned back to its normal color and warmed up.

I also used this oil last year when he got bell's palsy and it cleared up his drooping face in three days when I applied it with Peppermint oil.

I'm wondering if I put Aroma Siez on his brain if it would bring blood to his brain and help his memory.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: temperature-regulation — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
2.Associated topics: temperature-regulation — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
3.Associated topics: frostbite — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia."Link
4.Associated topics: bell's-palsy — "In nine studies, Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) has shown effectiveness for arteriosclerosis, autism, Bells palsy, chemotherapy-induced toxicity, degenerative disc disease, detox, muscle wasting, muscular dystrophy, neuroblastoma, neuroprotection, oxidative stress, and spinal stenosis."Link
