Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I am a survivor of sexual assault. I had already broken free from sexual abuse, but continued to have issues with intimacy. Mentally I had difficulty separating intimacy with my husband from previous sexual assaults.

Since the acts are so similar, my mind would play tricks on me and suddenly something pleasurable makes me feel like I am being attacked, complete with overwhelming flashbacks.

As a result, I did not want to be intimate, it simply conjured up too many feelings. This was very difficult on both my husband and I and I knew I needed to find a solution quickly. I would feel terrible for my feelings, but I just couldn't jump this hurdle.

I started using the SARA oil blend, 2-4 drops on my wrists, ears, neck and feet. I specifically picked this blend because I read that it can help with push out memories of sexual trauma and promote feelings of freedom and peace.

I tried it one night and was surprised how free I felt during intimacy. The first night I used it my husband talked about how much of a change he noticed. Still skeptical, I used it the next night with similar effects. From there I was hooked.

I use it as often as needed to give me emotional support and specifically to silence flashbacks. I love that it also brings feelings of peace and freedom versus anxiety from my past. Of course, this is not a replacement for going through the steps of recovery but it has greatly helped me in my pursuit.

I only wish I knew about this oil earlier. It would have gotten me through some difficult days when I was not able to talk to anyone about my feelings and would instead hold it all in, not a good idea.

None the less, I am very happy to have it now.
