Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
This past summer, at a family reunion, my four-year-old nephew stepped on a hot grill rack that had just been removed from the grill and dropped on the lawn. He stepped on it and then tried to pick it up with his hand when he felt it burning. He began screaming in pain. We carried him into the house and put his hand and foot in a sink with ice water. He was so pitiful, crying and everytime he tried to remove his hand from the water, he'd cry out "owie, owie, owie". So pitiful!
Unfortunately, I didn't have my Lavender in my purse. His hand blistered up with 2 distinct blisters from the lines of the grill. His foot didn't blister, but had 3 lines of scorch marks.
Once we got back to the hotel, I was able to pat his hand dry and put some Lavender on it. He instantly said, "it doesn't hurt anymore".
I continued to treat his hand and foot as he slept and in the morning. Both healed up with no more reported pain. *Note to self---must carry Lavender at all times!
