I started having major itching and red pustules underneath my left armpit. Gross, I know, but I learned it was shingles so I quickly grabbed my essential oils reference book and read that the Thieves oil blend would help. This made sense given that shingles is the herpes zoster virus and Thieves has anti-viral properties.
Initially, I took 4 capsules per day, 2 in am and 2 in pm. A few drops of Thieves was diluted with a few drops of olive oil for the capsules. I did this for 1 week, please be cautious though, as it is a hot oil blend. After 2 days, the itching and red pustules were completely gone -- I mean totally GONE!
I also used the Purification blend oil topically and I believe that had a bit to do with it as well.
