I had been using the Peace & Calming oil blend every night for myself and my 8 year old daughter for restful sleep with nice results. I used it several times during homeschooling as well. I thought it worked, but it was this one experience that nailed it!
My husband and I had a heated argument one night. I went to bed mad and feeling horrible. I fell into an exhausted sleep. My husband stayed up and couldn't sleep. Smart man that he is, he quietly slipped the diffuser at some point in the early morning next to my bed and filled it with Peace & Calming and the Joy oil blend.
The next morning I awoke feeling so rested and so very peaceful and good. I couldn't understand why and should've have tossed and turned all night and felt horrible the next morning. I felt so good and I knew my husband was somewhere in the house. Not wanting to face him yet and disturb my blissful peace, I went back to sleep for another hour or so.
I woke again feeling great and ready to "talk it out" with him. As I look over to my right, I see the diffuser going. Ha! That's when I knew these oils really work for emotions!
We laugh about this story now and love sharing it in our classes!
