Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have suffered with hereditary migraines for 30 years. Unfortunately, my 12 year old son also inherited a predisposition to migraines. Typically, I would have to go the complicated route of taking him to the doctor and getting a special letter to give to his school.

Then I would have to send him to school with medication (like chewable painkillers, etc.) This never sat well with me, because I felt I was encouraging him to take drugs whenever he felt he needed them, but also the painkillers never got to the root of the problem.

I have had great success treating my migraines with essential oils. So I thought, why not try a similar treatment for my son? I began sending him to school with a sample-sized bottle of Peppermint essential oil.

When he felt a migraine coming on, he could sniff the oil, or put it on his temples and the back of his neck, all without special permission. His migraines disappeared within a half hour of taking the oil.

But even better, his migraines have generally decreased over time!
