Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I found myself almost unable to walk one evening because of pain in my upper thigh. I had noticed a twinge during the day but had been able to ignore it. By late afternoon, I was in considerable pain. When I touched my outer thigh, it was really sore, almost too sore to walk.
I did a little research and found that the probable cause for my pain was my sciatic nerve in my lower back. I really needed to be able to walk the next day; I couldn't afford a day in bed.
I remembered the Valor oil blend being a good choice for back problems. I got ready for bed, rubbed Valor on my lower back and down the side of my thigh. I followed up with Wintergreen for the pain. With a hot water bottle and a lot of prayer, I laid down to sleep.
I slept well and to my amazement, my pain was gone the next day. I was able to walk and function without even a twinge of pain. The true physician is the Lord; I am thankful that he gives us tools like the essential oils to help ease our pain and suffering.

4. | Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia." | Link |
