Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
It's a rough winter this year! With the furnace constantly on, it has completely dried up my nose's mucous membranes. The inside of my nose was so dry, the mucosal lining was sore to the touch. One night I couldn't sleep because my nose felt stuffy. After much tossing and turning, I went down to the kitchen.
I held the jar of coconut oil under hot running tap water, to melt a few teaspoons worth. I poured that into a small glass jar and added three drops each of: Eucalyptus Globulus, Eucalyptus Blue, Myrrh and Frankincense. A gentle stir.
Then I dipped in a cotton swab and carefully applied the mixture to the inside of my nose. Yes, it was drippy. I had a tissue in hand for the run-off. But boy did I feel better! I finally got to sleep.
Over the next few days, I simply repeated application as needed.
