Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

A co worker showed up at work with a stye. She said she gets them several times a year. The next morning I brought her a mix of 2 drops Lavender oil, 2 drops Frankincense and 4 drops sweet almond oil.

She forgot to take the bottle home at the end of the workday (Friday afternoon), and I thought that she just didn't want to use it. On Monday morning she rushed to me when I arrived at work, telling me she came in Saturday morning to get the oil and applied it high on her eyelid and under her eye (not too close to the eye) twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday. The stye was gone Sunday night!

If the blend had been for my personal use, I would not have added the almond oil. But I diluted it for her because I wanted to reduce a possible negative experience if she had applied it directly on the stye and not just around the eye socket area.

The pathogenesis of Demodex blepharitis in eliciting ocular surface inflammation has been further clarified.
