Remove Wallpaper With No Glue Residue Remaining

Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. We had to remove some old wallpaper as well as a border from the walls in preparation to repaint and ready our house to be put on the market. The wallpaper came off relatively easily, but the glue from the border was next to impossible to remove.

So we tried steam as well as a water and vinegar mixture. After these unsuccessful attempts I mixed some Thieves Household Cleaner in a spray bottle with some distilled water... and voila!

We sprayed enough of this mixture (I used about 1 part Thieves to 2-3 parts water) to completely wet (but not soak) the paper of the border. We left it on for about 1-2 minutes and then were able to scrape and peel off the bordering without any damage to the walls!!! No film or glue was left on the walls either!

This Young Living product is completely amazing!!! There are so many uses for it; it's one of the most versatile products Young Living makes! In my opinion, no household should ever be without several bottles in the cupboard!!
