Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Carrying heavy boxes and coming up the stairs, I tripped and fell against the metal door frame and severely hurt my wrist. We actually thought I might have broken a bone.

I immediately applied several drops of Helichrysum oil and traded off with the PanAway blend. Though the arm was sore, what pain could have come did not! The bruising finally showed up a few days later as I lessened my applications!

Rule of thumb: use your oils as you would any prescription for a prescribed period of time. Remember our bodies need these oils and continual application is not only soothing but strengthening!

Anyway, as the bruising appeared, strangely about the size of a soup can lid, there was no yellowing, and the bruising was only inside the circle! I got busy reapplying the oil, 1 to 2 drops per application. The soreness has remained moderate but indicates I had seriously hurt myself.

I am constantly amazed at how these oils bless us with quick recoveries. To God be the glory (Genesis 2:8, 15; 1 Peter 1:3)!

1.Associated topics: bones-/-osteo — "Common herbs, essential oils, and monoterpenes potently modulate bone metabolism.... we investigated several common herbs rich in essential oils (sage, rosemary, and thyme) and essential oils extracted from these herbs and other plants (oils of sage, rosemary, juniper, pine, dwarf pine, turpentine, and eucalyptus) as well as their monoterpene components (thujone, eucalyptol, camphor, borneol, thymol, alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, bornylacetate as well as menthol) and found that they inhibit bone resorption.... Our study demonstrates for the first time that essential oils and monoterpenes are efficient inhibitors of bone resorption...."Link
2.Associated topics: bones-/-osteo — "Results of bone density, bone mineral content, bone tensile strength and histological analysis also showed similar trend of results, which supported initial observations of this study. It is proposed that hydroalcoholic extract of dried clove buds has bone-preserving efficacy against hypogonadal [hormonally deficient] osteoporosis."Link
3.Associated topics: helichrysum-oil — "...its flowers and leaves are the most used parts in the treatment of health disorders such as allergies, colds, cough, skin, liver and gallbladder disorders, inflammation, infections and sleeplessness... In vitro studies characterized Helichrysum as an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent. Its flavonoids and terpenes were effective against bacteria (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus), its acetophenones, phloroglucinols and terpenoids displayed antifungal action against Candida albicans and its flavonoids and phloroglucinols inhibited HSV and HIV, respectively.... Regarding Helichrysum italicum in vivo activity, the highlight goes to ...the anti-inflammatory properties exhibited by its flavonoids, acetophenones and phloroglucinols, as seen in animal models."Link
