I'm a massage therapist, and I had a client last week who had jammed her finger. It was sore and swollen, too much so for massage. I immediately and very gently applied about 2 drops of Lavender essential oil topically to the finger and went on with the session.

An hour later we finished her massage, and after she emerged from the massage room she pointed to her finger and said it was completely better. She was amazed and impressed, and I was so happy to have been able to help her with this, especially since actual massage was contraindicated.

One of the wonderful things about essential oils for me in my healing practice is that they can produce wonderful results in cases where massage isn't possible, adding a great tool to my tool kit for healing. Fantastic!
