When my daughter gets any kind of upper respiratory illness, she always is the one to develop a really bad cough. Just recently she developed a bad cold with which she had congestion and a bad cough. Usually when she develops this, she is coughing for at least two weeks.

Since I had just become a Young Living member, I got out my Everyday Oils collection and dispensed a drop of Peppermint and a drop of the Thieves oil blend. I mixed them with coconut oil and rubbed this mixture on her chest.

I also put one drop of Thieves in a vegetable capsule and had her take that once a day for three days. I also had two sample packets of NingXia Red juice, so I had her take an ounce of that for three days. I was determined to battle this cold!

That night after my daughter went to bed, she was coughing horribly. My boyfriend finally said, "Isn't there anything you can put in that diffuser you received to help with her coughing?" I was like, "Oh, yeah!"

I filled the diffuser with distilled water and put in two drops of Peppermint and one drop of Thieves. Within 5 to 10 minutes, she completely stopped coughing, and my boyfriend said, "Did you notice she has stopped coughing?" We were so happy and so amazed!

After applying the oils and using the diffuser for a few more days, she did not have a prolonged cough as she normally would have had.

Thanks again to Young Living for these wonderful oils!
