Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Yes, there are hundreds of testimonials on Lavender, but I just have to include my own testimonial with Young Living Lavender essential oil. Besides the usual use for relaxation or helping to sleep, I have to have Lavender with me at all times because of its other uses.

Sleeping/Relaxing:
Lavender has helped me to start dreaming again (I feel dreaming means I rest better) and it is also connected to REM sleep. I just put a drop on my neck or on my big toes.

Burns:
I've used Lavender when I burned myself while bending glass. I also use it mixed with coconut oil and a little Frankincense oil in an old Frankincense bottle for a sunscreen or for when I've been in the sun a little too long. If my face is a little red, I apply my mix, and it's better the next day.

Allergies:
I swallow (yes swallow) a drop or two of Lavender to help keep my allergies at bay. I have one allergen that really makes my eyes tear and my nose itch and run, and, if I'm around too long, I can start wheezing. However, with two drops just before I step out, I'm good for at least a couple of hours. I can touch the allergen and then touch my face... and have no reaction.

Antiseptic:
Lavender is what I use whenever my kid, me or anyone else gets a scrape or a cut. I don't bother with Neosporin. I just put a little on the cut. When I use it on others, especially if it's the first time I use it on them, I do warn them of the good night's rest they will have later that evening.

One of my kid's coaches got a semi-deep cut that was bleeding. I just put a drop on it, and we left it alone. The bleeding stopped on its own, and it closed up very nicely.

I definitely use Lavender whenever my kid's friends get scratched or cut (if I received their parent's permission to use essential oils). One friend of mine did confirm that their kid slept very well during the night after Lavender had been used.

If a little Lavender is applied more than just at the initial incidence of injury, I noticed that scarring is minimized... or there's none at all.

I have another testimonial regarding Lavender oil with the use of the PanAway oil blend when my kid was injured on an escalator. I believe the Lavender oil definitely helped her gouged skin regenerate.

I've used Lavender on a cut or sore in my mouth once, and it helped soothed the sore. I also applied it neat (full strength) once to a hemorrhoid, and it went away.

Finally, I just let my body tell me how else to use Lavender essential oil as well as the other Young Living essential oils.

If I am just at peace and listen, my body will tell me how else I should use this oil.
