I awoke at 4 AM one morning with pain in my abdomen. I went to the sofa and found the pain also migrated to the sternum area. The pain was so crushing that I felt like a truck was sitting on my sternum.
After thinking for a few minutes about whether to wake my husband and go to the hospital, I remembered I had essential oils (had only had my kit for about 2 weeks). In too much pain to check any suggestions from any source, I just applied the PanAway blend on my abdomen and Peppermint essential oil on my sternum.
The abdominal pain went away instantly, but the sternum still had crushing pain. So I put PanAway on my sternum as well. The sternum pain then also went away instantly! Completely pain free, I went back to bed. (Note: If you suspect pain due to a heart attack, get emergency help immediately.)
About two weeks later my 91-year-old mother (who lives with me) also had pain in her chest. She gets heartburn regularly, which tends to give her serious pain for about an hour. I applied PanAway on her chest, and the pain was immediately relieved.
